Hello! My name is Daniel, and I’m delighted to connect with fellow language enthusiasts here. Originally from the beautiful country of Croatia, I’ve been calling the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington my home for the past 25 years. I’m 38 years young and live with my adorable 5 cats and 2 dogs who keep life interesting!
My academic journey in English and Applied Linguistics has been quite fulfilling. I’ve spent 5 amazing years teaching English as a Second Language at the University level, where I discovered my passion for languages and cultural exchange.
Professionally, I currently lead a dynamic team at Amazon, focusing on managing Enterprise accounts with a particular interest in assisting non-profit organizations. I am currently working towards my MBA at Boston University.
When it comes to languages, I’m fluent in English, and strong in Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian. I’m thrilled to offer my expertise in English and Croatian and equally excited to learn Chinese Mandarin or Tibetan. My goal is to improve as I plan a trip to visit China and Tibet in the coming years.
In my free time, you’ll find me indulging in a variety of hobbies. I love horse riding, boating for a good catch, and hiking with my dogs through the scenic trails around Seattle.

ArabicI am a Doctoral student writing my dissertation in interpersonal cross-ethnic relationships in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Israel. I am currently living in Katowice with my partner and hoping to pick up Polish and meet more people in the area. I also studied and speak some Hebrew and Arabic and would like to continue practicing those languages. I am a native speaker of Bosnian and native-like speaker of English and could offer practice in those languages as well.

My native language is Bosnian, I speak fairly good German, and would like to improve my English (the goal is actually to speak both languages, and sice I'm speaking German most of the time I would like to get a chance to practice English as well). I work as a pharmacist so we can talk on this topic if drugs&health are something you would like to know more about or something else like books, movies, cooking etc. Looking forward to see how this will work out :)

Hi! My name is Helena and I'm 16 years old.
I study fashion design. I speak Serbian and Hungarian at native level and English at B2/C1 level.
I was born and raised in Serbia, but my parents talked to me in Hungarian because my mom's from Hungary. When I started going to kindergarten I learned Serbian and now I know Serbian better than Hungarian. I can teach Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian very well (I speak Serbian but these 3 languages are very similar), but I never taught Hungarian before.
I like to draw, bake, travel, spend time in nature, sew, read, play the piano and violin, photography, badminton, volleyball...
I'm practicing the American accent and am looking for someone around my age who speaks with an American accent.
