Although I studied German some time ago and understand it quite well, I find that my speaking skills have become a bit rusty. I'm eager to engage in conversations on various topics to enhance my verbal fluency. My primary focus is on speaking and generating conversation, rather than on grammatical perfection. However, I do appreciate corrections to my mistakes, should you feel comfortable providing them.

German and I are long-time acquaintances but never got to the point of calling each other friends. Since I recently moved to Germany, I decided now is the perfect time to change that. Unfortunately, everybody speaks English at work so I don't have any excuse to talk in German.
Spanish, on the other hand, immediately became my friend, but there is still a long way to go.
In my free time, I like to travel, do yoga, read books, cook, collect vinyl records and hang out with my friends. I can always talk about food, music and movies.

I am very interested in learning different languages as it keeps my mind fit and it is fun to learn expressions, false friends and the general structure of new languages. I have been learning french for a few years now and I am reached a plateau, because I have no one to speak to. So, I would like a french language partner and in exchange I can offer German (native proficiency), english (professional proficiency) and croatian (native proficiency).
I grew up in Austria, where langauge learning is highly regarded and english was taught to me from a very young age. Now after living in the UK for 5 years I am more familiar with British English and colloquial expression that may be useful to you when you visit London, or other parts.
I speak Hochdeutsch very fluently, but I also converse in more informal settings, with friends, in dialect german. So, people who would like to learn some expressions or phrases that are exclusively used in bavaria/austria, are also welcome to contact me.
