[Thank you so much for checking out my profile. For now I have some good language exchange opportunities, so temporarily I am not available to do more language exchange. Thank you]
Hello I’m Kuma. I live in Tokyo with my Japanese wife, and even though she has been teaching me, my Japanese is still rather at a basic level. So I am looking for a language exchange partner, who I could meet in person and help each other improve our language skills :-). I can offer you English and Hungarian as practice languages.
English is not my native language, but I lived in North-America for 13 years, therefore my English is pretty fluent. So I am very positive that I can help you to improve your language abilities.
I don't drink alcohol, and don't smoke, but love classical music, books, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Please feel free to contact me :-).
PS. I do not answer messages from people without profile picture

Hi! I'm Bogi, a language teacher and passionate polyglot originally from Hungary, now living in Italy. I have a background in Turkology and Byzantine Studies, and I’ve been teaching and translating languages for years.
I teach Hungarian, Italian, and Turkish, and I’m currently learning Spanish, Azerbaijani, French, German, Greek, and Portuguese. Language learning is a huge part of my life, and I love exploring etymology, linguistic connections, and cultural differences.
I also run a blog and YouTube channel for Italian and Hungarian learners. You can check out my blog and find more about me here:
About Me
What do I like to talk about?
Culture, travel, and languages! I love deep linguistic discussions, etymology, and how languages influence each other.
What’s my ideal language exchange partner like?
Someone who enjoys structured exchanges: 30 minutes in one language, 30 minutes in another—so we both get equal practice.
What are my language learning goals?
I want to improve my speaking skills and maintain my fluency in the languages I know, while progressing in the ones I’m currently studying.

Hello! Nice to meet You. I'm István, but if it's more comfortable for you, you can call me Steven. I'm looking for new friends here and talking partners to help me to practice fluent English speaking. Of course, British English is the most important to me but primarily I'm looking for native speakers from the US or Canada because these two types are closely related to my studies. I've been learning English for years but it's still not good enough. Since I live in Hungary and I'm a native Hungarian speaker, I hope I can help you, if you'd like to learn "The Devil's language". :D I also learn Japanese and French but I'm an absolute beginner on those languages. They're very interesting languages, aren't they? I enjoy it.
I'm looking forward to interesting meaningful conversations.

Hello everyone! My name is Barbara, and I would like to practice Italian with somebody nice. I’m a very curious person and interested in cultures and the human experience (not because I’m an alien, nono!) We could speak about current affairs, pop culture, books, movies… - anything, I’m open-minded!
Hungarian is my first language, so I understand it instinctively, also, I have a degree in it. English is my second language, but at this point I use it more than my first language, since I communicate with it with my husband and most of my friends in my everyday life - and I also watch an unhealthy amount of British tv…

Hello! I am half-Hungarian, but I grew up in the USA. For me, Hungarian is such a beautiful language. For anyone who is on the journey of learning Hungarian, I really recommend working with Botond Attila Boros and checking out his work here: https://kacagva.hu/. He is an amazing teacher, and you will make significant strides in your Hungarian learning journey through fun stories and in-context grammar--rather than trying to study and memorize the horrendous Hungarian grammar books! Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions/want to hear more about my experience working with Botond.
I also speak Spanish, but I learned Spanish strictly through memorizing grammar, so I still struggle with the language when it comes to expressing myself fluently. I would love to practice my Spanish with others, and help anyone else with their target language.
I am also beginning to learn Japanese because I would love to travel and work there at some point in my life.
I am looking forward to connecting with you!

Hello There!
My name is Alice, (Aliz) and I would love to connect with someone that speaks fluent Hungarian who would like to practice speaking conversational English and vice versa.
I am a 56 year old woman that immigrated to Canada when I was just under two years old. My native language is Hungarian, but I grew up speaking mainly English, so needless to say my Hungarian conversational skills are a bit "stuck in my brain". :-) I would love to work with someone for the next few months so that we can each practice English/Hungarian.
I live in Canada and am on Eastern Standard Time and am available online once per week for one hour or so. Please reach out to me if you are interested or have any questions.
Thank you!
Alice

Look forward to hearing from you :^)
