My name is Octavia, I am 27 years old and I am from St Louis, Missouri. I work at a hospital and I am going to school to become a nurse. I hope to eventually become a traveling nurse after a bit. The world is huge and I have never been outside of the US, so I plan to see the world. In my future, sky is the limit.
My interests include photography, singing, art, music, dancing, cooking, reading, going to concerts, watching movies of all different genres and learning/trying new things.
I am very open-minded which is why I have taken it upon myself to learn how to speak Korean and further my knowledge of the Spanish language which I took for 3 years.
Italian, Swahili, French, Chinese, and Vietnamese are new languages that I have added to my list.
I think it would be awesome to make friends on here!

I can speak so so English but I would like to expand vocabulary. And I do not have a chance to speak English so much nowadays, I would like to speak English more in order not to forget. I can teach and advise Japanese to you!

SwedishHi :) I am Barbara (the short version is Barča in Czech). I learned English in school, but I don't believe in myself with speaking and generally in grammar, also extending my vocabulary isn´t a bad idea either.
I study at Masaryk University in Brno, so struggling with English in my studies was another reason to sign up here. I am looking forward to finding more confidence in English language and maybe find new international friends and learn some about their culture.
At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, I started learning Swedish, currently, I know just a few words and phrases. So if we could speak in English and meanwhile correct my pronunciation of some Swedish words, it would be great. :)

We are looking for partners for family language exchange. We will help you and your children learn Russian and will be happy to improve our knowledge of English together with you. We know Russian literature, music and history well. I hope we can find common topics for communication.
We are looking for partner who can practice our girls 7 and 10 yrs old for simple conversations in English (native speaker with Received Pronunciation as well as speaker without strong regional accent) for 1-2 hour per week lessons. They learns English for 1.5 and 3.5 years.. The eldest daughter studies Russian at school (4rd grade) and can explain the theory of the Russian language as well as me.
So I can help you to learn Russian (Moscow region with native Russian pronouncing). My English is about B2 but my little problem is right words order when I making sentences in English)). So I will have chance to improve it))
