I’m currently living abroad, but since my language and hobbies don’t really match the people around me, I sometimes feel a little lonely. I have always been interested in languages and devoted a large part of my life to learning and using Chinese (Mandarin). I spent 15 years in China, working there as an interpreter. I visited Latvia last summer and was mesmerized by the language - very different from anything I expected, but with hints of hidden similarity to my native Polish (often misleading, but that makes it even more interesting). I started learning it and also decided to learn more about Latvia, and would love to find someone to help me become more proficient. I'm obviously a beginner, but quite eager to make progress. I offer Polish and Chinese in exchange.
