FrenchI came to Nice (close to it to be exact) for minimum 4 months. I do a project for American clients, so I'm using English on a daily basis. I'm design and welding engineer, also specialized in HVAC. I would like to learn French more. I still have problem with basics, while in the same time I know a lot of technical words that you don't use in normal life :P like <la cuvette reduité de l'ascenseur >. I can exchange French for Polish or English. I'm interested in real life meetings (not dates!).

Hi! My name is Aleksandra and I'm 24 years old ^_^ This summer i'm going to spend 2 months on a research mission organised by my university in a foreign country. However over the years my English speaking skills have seriously declined - or maybe i'm just stressing over it too much. I read scientific papers and have British & Australian penpals so i guess it's not that bad... But the thought of speaking English fills me with panic!!! I just don't have many opportunities to practise speaking English in my life. That's why i would like to find someone to chat in person once or twice a week over the next few weeks (and maybe later too?). I really love learning new things about people and the world, so we don't have to be similar at all. Having penpals from all over the world has taught me so many things and i truly enjoy being exposed to new concepts ^_^

hey, we are a family of 4 from Poland (Daniel, Ewa, our children - Alek aged 14 and Eryk aged 9). Soon we will be exploring beautiful Japan and we are looking for interesting local people to show us wonderful Tokyo in exchange for speaking English and of course making friends We lived in London for 15 years, we speak English well. Are you interested in meeting us and showing us what is worth visiting in Tokyo - we promise a nice atmosphere, interesting conversation and good snacks during sightseeing if you take us to some delicious Tokyo street food:-) We need a guide on May 19th (all day) and possibly on May 20th around 5pm. We will of course cover the cost of public transport (metro).
