I'm a Hindu monk and an academic philosopher, and I'd like to practice speaking German. In exchange, I can help you with English, which is my native language, though I also speak Bengali and have reading proficiency in German and Sanskrit. I was born and raised in the US. I have a PhD in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and I also studied philosophy and English literature at Oxford University and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My interests include spirituality, Indian and Western philosophy, and Western classical music (especially Bach and Arvo Pärt), though I'm open to talking about various things.
