Hi,

I'm Jean-Louis, a "six-seven" as my kids like to state. I'm an IT specialist living in Paris area.

I love helping people learning French. I have been very active supporting French language learners in a dedicated Q&A site for more than a decade but unfortunately, its traffic has dramatically dropped in the recent years because people prefer using AI instead of communicating with real people. It is true that AI answers quickly but nothing beats interacting with a real native person.

I love travelling, practicing different languages, especially Spanish and English with real people.

I understand Italian and to a lesser extent Catalan, not to mention Occitan and Corsican.

For now, I'm focusing on improving my written and spoken Spanish.

My hobbies are photography and linguistics.

Hola,
