Hi! I'm Vítor, a visual artist, researcher, and curator based in Portugal. I speak Portuguese and English fluently, and I can understand French, Italian and Castilian Spanish very well, though I don't use them actively. I'm currently learning Samoan because of its oral musical tradition. I'm fascinated by languages and how they reflect different ways of seeing the world — especially in cultures and places I'm less familiar with.

I graduated in literature and cinema, and I often work across media, discipline, places and languages. I'm especially interested in mythology, horror films, and the ways stories circulate, are mediated and are received in different languages and cultures. Outside of work, I'm really into everything arts, especially opera!
