Hi there, I joined this group to have some socialising time. I studied and worked in the UK for 17 years and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning more about them. I speak several languages, but some of these are getting rusty. These are German and Korean.
Furthermore, I would like to learn few Chinese words as I like watching Chinese movies and Chinese language sounds interesting. So if you like to have chat here and there or need a mate to go to places etc. I am happy to join you and meet up.

I love traveling, exploring different cultures, and learning languages. At the moment, I’m juggling English, German, and—very slowly but passionately—Italian (so if you write to me in Italian, please add subtitles 🙃).

My main goal when it comes to languages is to acquire excellent command of German. I have lived in Vienna for a few months in 2023, which is when I started learning it intensively, and reaches close to B2. At present, I am looking for someone to have written exchanges with, and possibly online conversations - but keeping it casual.
I seek ways to stay in contact with people who also want to improve their German language skills. There are not many such people in my neighborhood, even though I live in NYC!
My hobbies include sports, literature, film, and of course, city exploration.

FrenchHey, I am an English teacher currently on mat.leave. I have been teaching English for the past 7 years and I have studied other languages as well. My hobbies include food, fantasy and language research. I also love traveling especially to the Mediterranean.
