My name is Julian and I live in the Liverpool area of the north of England. I am looking to do a language exchange with a native Arabic speaker.
I studied Arabic many years ago at university and learnt Fusha and Egyptian dialect but today I would struggle to have even a basic conversation. So, if you're happy to help me become conversational in Arabic and are patient in nature it would be good to speak to you.
In return I can help you with your English. In my job I am an English teacher and I am also a writer so my level and understanding of English is above average. I can help you whether you want to just be able to speak conversationally or whether you wish to acquire a more sophisticated and refined English.
I have a relaxed approach to learning and try to make the sessions enjoyable and fun too.
I use Zoom for language exchanges though I'm happy to use an alternative if you prefer.
My interests are politics, literature, cinema, walking, swimming, watching football, chatting with friends in cafes and learning languages.

I am looking for a conversation partner for my Japanese studies. I have started studying Japanese end of 2024. I did study it a bit in my youth as well. I have weekly lessons with a Japanese teacher, these lessons are great, but my reading and writing are way ahead of my speaking and understanding.
My native tongue is Dutch. I also speak and write English at C2 and French and German at C1 level. I am looking for a native or C1 / C2 Japanese speaker looking to improve their Dutch / English / French / German. I am open for most anything, meeting, chatting, writing, as long as I can increase my exposure to Japanese.
My Japanese is at JLPT N5 / N4 level at the moment, but I am still struggling to understand when spoken at natural speed. My aim is to get to N4 by autumn. I will be traveling to Japan then, and I really want to be able to have basic conversations, to know how to behave, and how to get in touch with people.

If you speak with a typical Andalusian accent, I would appreciate it if you could speak more slowly while I get used to how several words are joined together into one. I want to practice Spanish with a native speaker. My speaking level is low but I have a better understanding of Spanish than my speaking ability due to lack of practice.
I recently completed the CELTA course and I am nearing the completion of my degree in English language.
This will enable me to help you with all aspects of the English language and give me some practice teaching English as a foreign language to native Spanish speakers.
My interests include but not limited to; travel, weight training, cycling, Mixed Martial Arts, learning to fly small aircraft and all things engineering based. (Mechanics, welding and fabricating etc)
