I am a recently retired high school math and science teacher, who is now living in Prague to study Czech at Charles University for two semesters! This has been my dream, since my first visit to the Czech Republic in 2002.
I have my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate, and I have taught conversational English in the Czech Republic during the summers of 2012-2016 at the International Summer Language School in Plzen. Most of my students were young adults and university students who were there because they wanted to learn English. I really enjoyed my time teaching there. Most of my friends here in the Czech Republic are younger than I am, which keeps my attitude and outlook on life positive.
I would be happy to practice English with you in exchange for torturing you with my bad Czech. ;-)
There are so many wonderful places in Prague to meet up for a chat and kavu, caj nebo pivo, let's do it! :-)

FrenchHi, my name is Anna and I'm 22 yo. I live in Prague where I also study at a university. My field of study is, believe it or not, languages - French and Finnish to be more specific. However, I've found out that my oral skills are getting worse and worse. So I'm here to do something about it!
I am seeking a friend with whom I could speak preferably French, but also English or Finnish. I am still able to hold a fluent conversation in all these languages but my reactions may not be as spontaneous as they could be or as I want them to be - I suppose it will get better soon. I don't care whether you're a native speaker or not, let's just practice conversation together! Or, of course, if you want to, I can teach you some Czech...
I have tons of hobbies and interests so I'm pretty sure that we'll find something to discuss.

Pourtant, je me suis aperçue que ma production orale dans les langues étrangères deviens de plus en plus mauvaise. Alors, je suis ici pour le changer!
Je suis à la recherche d'un ami avec qui je pourrais parler surtout français, mais aussi anglais ou finnois. Je pense que je m'exprime toujours suffisamment couramment, pourtant, il m'arrive parfois que je cherche les mots trop longtemps - je crois que ça va s'améliorer rapidement. Si tu es locuteur natif ou pas, ça m'est complètement égal! Entrainons-nous dans la conversation ensemble! Ou, bien sûr, si tu veux apprendre le tchèque, je peux t'aider avec ça...
J'ai un tas de loisir, donc je crois qu'on trouvera de quoi parler.
