I am retired and recently moved to Anchorage. Moved from french speaking Belgium in 1974. I have been involved with food all myl life , teaching french cooking, catering, making chocolate candies. Besides cooking, reading about food, I love traveling, art , meeting people . I am not young (!) but I have a lot of energy and enthusiasm.

Bonjour! My name is Ryan and I am currently learning French. I have been trying to immerse myself as much as possible with apps, books and music, even putting my technology in French and such. I'm sure all agree though that it's always much different when you're actually speaking to someone in their native language. Currently I am a senior at university and am wanting to go back to school to get a nursing degree in order to hopefully work for Doctors Without Borders at some point in my life. Some hobbies are, well, learning French, hiking, backpacking, listening to music, reading, conversing with people and learning/trying new things.
