Hi, I'm Poppy,
I am living in Yokohama on a tourist visa. I seriously do not want to leave Japan. I am currently a beginning mangaka, but have been an artist, an engineer, a computer programmer, a photographer, a musician, and probably more. I speak in flawless, but idiosyncratic English.
I am really not sure how this all works, how one learns one language while speaking another, but I am willing to give it a shot. I would like to learn with a female native Japanese speaker. My current Japanese level is quite low, but I am very motivated.
